As the Allies roll across Europe in 1945, at a secret underground factory in Southern Austria the Germans are racing to deploy the last of Hitler’s ‘Wonder Weapons’, an atomic bomb. With time running out they cannot launch the bomber in time and destroy the factory to prevent it being captured. They flee South, taking their stockpile of gold and enriched uranium with them, in an attempt to reach the ship that will take them to South America .

Seventy years later a boy falls down a ventilation shaft and the factory is rediscovered. What is found inside sends Tom Stroud and DI Claire Owens on a frantic hunt for the missing loot. Unfortunately they’re not the only ones with designs on the treasure. A past nemesis in the form of a Russian oligarch wants to get his hands on the uranium. What they eventually uncover is a surprise to all.

Tom Stroud, aircraft recovery expert and restorer, is sent a package of World War 2 German aircraft drawings amongst which are found notes and diaries believed to have been stolen from Nikola Tesla on his death

in 1943. Their contents instigate a race between Tom, Claire and the Governments of the UK and USA against a mysterious global energy corporation to secure a shipment of a rare element. This element is critical to a proposed energy generation and transmission system being developed which, if successful, would hand control of the World’s electricity supply to a single man and create anarchy in the developed countries. This man, as it turns out, also has a personal vendetta to satisfy.

The chase takes Tom, and his partner Detective Inspector Claire Owens, across Europe and Asia to track down the elusive shipment and to shut down the energy harvesting system before it becomes fully operational.
